Before you pay
For David & An. Work through this before transferring anything. Progress saves automatically on this phone.
The flat is newly handed over, so there's no title deed yet - that's normal. Check the paperwork chain instead.
Everything backed by documents, not statements. Watch for:
Don't worry
It's my relative's apartment
My aunt owns it
I'm an agent, but it's also my apartment
New handover, so a deposit before buying furniture is common. Avoid vague “fully furnished” - the contract should name every item.
David will live there, so this matters. The agent said: “If you know how to do it, just register it yourself.” In practice the owner may need to cooperate with building management / authorities.
They may not share personal details, but can sometimes confirm authorisation.
Pressure lines to ignore:
Many people are interested
You must pay today
Someone else will rent it tomorrow
All six of these are true. Otherwise, walk away and find another apartment rather than risk the 19M ₫.
